How funny is this.....

I opened the box from my latest Amazon BOGO and laying right on top and staring at me was a 3 page tri-fold advertisement for HD-DVD...

It told me "that I am not getting the most out of my HDTV unless I have HD-DVD" and I need to experience the "Look and Sound of Perfect"

Thought it was worth a chuckle....

Yeah, I got one with my BD copy of Pan's Labyrinth. I don't think I have ever gotten one of those things with a standard DVD. I wonder if Toshiba is just paying them to put them in packages with BDs. It seems kind of insulting.

My suggestion would be that we all make a complaint to Amazon. Call me picky, but this really is an insult when getting an order of blu-ray movies to get something telling us we are not getting the most of our hdtv's. I wrote already.

I agree with the above poster. Definitely send in a complaint about that.

If I get one of these ads with my amazon order (which is shipping now), they will definitely hear about it.

Keep it. It will be a vintage keep sake worth some money later on in a few - many - years.
