Blu-ray Samurai

I started buying certain titles on 4K Blu-ray last year. I didn't get an HDR-compatible 4K TV until about 3 weeks ago. Going forward, I'll pretty much only buy 4K versions (when available). But what about titles I already own?
At first, I wasn't planning to upgrade any of my existing Blu-ray titles to 4K versions. However, the wonders of HDR have enticed me to rethink that position. Generally speaking, I'm holding out for a $9.99 to $12.99 price point before I double-dip on most titles. There are a few (such as Raiders of the Lost Ark or Back to the Future) that I would be willing to spend more (provided the 4K transfers are worth it). How about you? What's your price point to force the double-dip? Mark |
