The full press release says there will be individual releases at $15 each (box is $25), and the individual ones will come in purple cases (while supplies last) instead of blue.

Three Unique Films from a One-of-a-Kind Legend Prince Movie Collection Oct. 4 Includes Newly Remastered Purple Rain plus High Definition Debuts of Graffiti Bridge and Under the Cherry Moon in one Blu-ray™ Collection

Burbank, CA, August, 2016 – Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE) commemorates the film career of the late legendary musical artist Prince with the debut of the Prince Movie Collection on Blu-ray™ October 4. The Collection features Prince’s only three acting performances: the Academy Award® winner Purple Rain[i] with newly remastered audio and video, along with the unofficial sequel Graffiti Bridge and Under the Cherry Moon, both available for the first time on Blu-ray.

The Prince Movie Collection will be available for $24.98 SRP and each film will sell individually for $14.97 SRP. Instead of the traditional blue Blu-ray casing, each film will be packaged in Prince’s signature color of purple (while supplies last).

Fans can also own each film via purchase from digital retailers.

I hope this is the start of his back catalog of Warner Bros albums finally being rereleased as remasters with outtakes, B-sides, live footage, etc. One can only hope.

Agreed. I remember when that was supposed to happen to the Purple Rain album for the 30th Anniversary, but it never came to pass...

With that said, while I've already got the first release of Purple Rain, as a VERY big Prince fan, I look forward to, at the very least, adding the other two films to my collection. They should go well with my Australian Blu-Ray of Sign "☮" The Times...

Even though I already bought the original Purple Rain blu-ray upon hearing of Prince's death, I will happily buy the multi-collection set so I can have the remastered version and the other movies all together.

I'll be getting the collection and a copy of Purple Rain for the purple case! I'll probably give the collection to my mom for Christmas since Prince was one of, if not her top, favorite musicians.

Hmmm, unless the specs are wrong, it looks like "Cherry Moon" will be dropping the 4 music-videos that were on the DVD version.

Edit: It looks like "Graffiti Bridge" DVD also had 4 videos that are being dropped for the Blu - never had that DVD.

Disappointing the music videos are not included for UTCM since Prince performs only 1 song in the entire movie. However, Mountains video is played during end credits. Been nice to include Kiss, Anotherloverholenyohead, and Girls & Boys. Maybe there will be a video collection coming soon. Also, wish the MTV concert special was included.

Sweet! A purple case! I almost imported that one film that came out in France with a purple case just so I could get one

Even if Purple Rain wasn't remastered I'd buy it again for that case.

Why would Warner not include the bonus music videos with Under The Cherry Moon and Graffiti Bridge that were included on the prior DVD release of both films? That's disappointing. All of the Purple Rain bonus features have been carried over from the previous release.

Just a guess, but probably licensing issues.
