Awesome! I missed out picking up the DVD release several years ago, and held off on buying Warner Archive's burned MOD release.

Hopefully, BIRDMAN AND THE GALAXY TRIO and THE HERCULOIDS can also get the restored blu-ray treatment from Warner Archive. There's more H-B shows I'd like to see, but if i'm going with the super-short list it'd be those two along with Space Ghost.

Jonny Quest, Space Ghost and The Herculoids are my "big 3" H-B shows. Already got JQ on Blu; with Space Ghost coming, all I'll need is the Herculoids.

(Like you, there are other shows I'd love to get on BD, like Birdman, Mightor, Shazzan, Thundarr the Barbarian - but I can be satisfied with my "big 3".)

Space Ghost and Dino Boy: The Complete Series

Showcasing the episodes in the three-segment form as they originally aired, these stellar retro hits soar through space and time to deliver justice! First, intergalactic policeman Space Ghost navigates the cosmos in his tricked-out spaceship, The Phantom Cruiser, battling villains like Brak and Zorak in his legendary suit and powerful wristbands. Then, Dino Boy teams with caveman Ugh and dinosaur Bronty to go primeval on the ancient menaces of their primitive home. And finally, Space Ghost flies again with more extraterrestrial adventures and thrilling takedowns. This dynamite compilation also features the dynamic six-part Space Ghost episode The Council of Doom. It is cosmic entertainment for all!

I really hope this includes the brief but excellent documentary The Life And Art Of Alex Toth that was included on the DVD set.

WAC hasn't officially announced these quite yet. These titles are coming from Amazon listings. I will be shocked if this set didn't have the DVD extras.

Yes, I’ll just like it when it’s confirmed. I know the Jonny Quest blu-ray set carries over all the extras so I am hopeful that will be the case here too.

It's interesting that shows like this and the above mentioned Herculoids only have a couple seasons a piece. When I watched these as a kid 25 years ago via Cartoon Network, it seemed like there were a lot more episodes.

But I guess it's good for these lesser known/popular (compared to Scooby Doo, The Flintstones or Looney Tunes, for example) because it's more cost effective for WAC to release entire series at a time.

Maybe you're actually thinking of Space Ghost Coast to Coast? I have to admit, most of my Space Ghost memories were of that show, which makes sense, since there's far more episodes and they aired on Cartoon Network/Adult Swim all the time. If this release does well, I hope they also release Coast to Coast too although they're quite different.

I’m only familiar with this character through Coast-to-Coast, but I’ve always wanted to check out the original too. I really dig retro sci-fi.

Probably because Cartoon Network showed these multiple times a week and it made you think there were more episodes than there actually was. I grew up in the 90s watching all the H&B and the even older classic WB and MGM cartoons nonstop because I watched Cartoon Network non-stop. If I wasn't watching baseball it was Cartoon Network. Also, most of these cartoons had just a two season production run by H&B, though generally that was the case with all cartoons even Scooby Doo, Where Are You.

Also, while I watched some of Space Ghost Coast to Coast and don't get me wrong I loved it, I got introduced to Space Ghost, the Herculoids, Birdman, and others by watching Cartoon Network on an endless loop when I wasn't outside, watching the Orioles, or at school.

I imagine Coast to Coast would be more difficult with all the guests and I would imagine clearance issues. If they were to release any Adult Swim shows I would prefer they release Aqua Teen Hunger Force, as it was a spinoff to Coast to Coast and its insane it isn't on BluRay.

Coast to Coast is on HBO Max. And in HD (if you want to call it that).
