Default Fox Never Intended to Leave

There is some major FUD going around the Internet that Fox was leaving the BDA and going HD DVD along with Warner, but big money from the BDA changed the whole picture.

Fox WAS offered money from the HD DVD group and HD DVD was turned down. Who really were the ones using $ to try and buy a victory????

This is nonsense and it is not true or even logical. Here are some reasons why.

1. Fox likes security. I'm sorry, but even IF BD+ is kind of cracked (never seen proof it is) Blu-ray still offers region coding, which Fox uses, which HD DVD doesn't. They have been the most conservative studio in regards to secuirty in this war, so why should we believe for one second that they magicaly go to becoming one of the most liberal. Money would make some sense, but in that case HD DVD has no reason to be mad at us IF we gave WB and Fox money to stay with us (we didn't).

2. We have trusted insiders. Lets face it, we knew this (WB) was coming, because of them. They never hinted once of a Fox issue or that Fox was thinking about leaving.

3. Look at their new releases. MPEG-2!!! MPEG-2 and HD DVD don't mix very well, I have a really hard time believing if they intended on going HD DVD that they would have been working on MPEG-2 transfers this whole time.
