Default CW expands to Sunday night for 2018-19.

There's not a network forum so if this doesn't need it's own topic, I'm sorry...

I wonder if this will mean more episodes for shows like iZombie, Legends of Tomorrow, or Black Lightning.. Honestly, I think everything should stay the same and reduce the Arrowverse shows and Supernatural to 20 episodes to allow for more streamlined storytelling without all the extra junk we get. Adding Sunday isn't a surprise though, CW always renews the majority of their shows which puts a strain on their scheduling since they have more hours of programming than they have hours to broadcast them on, so I hope this works out for them.

They already picked up a ton of shows, or announced Pilots, so I don't think it will mean more episodes for existing shows. They have a ton of content.

CW had some original programming Sunday nights back in the day... now they are basically DCTV I guess it makes sense to expand into that night again.

That is pretty big really. They have been restricted to 10 shows running for a long time. That might give shows with lower ratings a bit more of a chance to stick around for another season.

Also, now there will be less chance of them screwing up their schedule like they did this season and have to put one of their main shows on an extended break because they have too many shows.

Those weren't really CW shows though, they leased Sunday out to another company that produced the shows and marketed and scheduled everything... but they only lasted about a month then the shows and the lease were dropped.

I'm hoping this means we'll get a season 5 of iZombie and I know some people are hoping for another season of The 100
