Smile Blu-Movies you bought that you never seen or owned before

Have you bought a BD movie for the first time that you have never seen or owned just because its on Blu-Ray.

I have never seen the Shinning or 2001 on either DVD or in the movies I have however seen it on TV at a glance. I am seriouly think about picking up these two this weekend just because they are two great movies that I haven't experience as yet and the picture quality is great.

The Fountain.
I liked this movie after watching the Blu-ray. It was very visual and intellectual. I know it is not everyone's cup of tea.. but i thought this was a great movie. Glad I blindly bought it.

Yep Ghost Rider. I'd figure the special effects would be great plus I like a lot of comic book movies. This movie was missing something though

Happy Feet it was the 2nd blu-ray I ever bought my brother told me it was a good movie.

The Untouchables I figured it was a mob movie and I like most mob movies but wasn't too thrilled with it though. The movie score seemed to kill the movie IMO.

The Prestige - I heard it rave reviews and that the pq was amazing.

Apocalypto - again heard rave reviews.

Underworld - I haven't watched it yet

I will be buying Ratatouille on Blu-ray without having seen it yet.... as for 2001 and the Shining... I would suggest you see them first before buying, they are not for everyone.

haha, well the thing with ghost rider is that he's not really that exciting of a comic book character.... he's kinda like daredevil, semi-popular, but not enough to really matter.

I have done a lot of blind buys, but I try to read reviews to see if they are good candidates. The last two blind buys I picked up, immortal beloved and curse of the golden flower definately lived up to their reviews.

The next blind buys for me are Spidy 3 and Pirates 3 - and I am going to get them REGARDLESS of the reviews What can I say, I am a trusting soul! - well, that and both Sony and Disney have been kicking some serious bu++ in their latest transfers.

For me it was Fantastic 4 2. Never got to see it in the theatres but I knew from FF1 that the PQ & SQ were going to be phenomenal...they were.

Bought Memoirs of a Geisha, Planet Earth, and Galapagos without seeing them. Still haven't watched Memoirs of Galapagos, but damn am I glad I got Planet Earth (it was my third blu purchase, the first being casino royale and then fifth element).

Planet Earth was probably my first out right blind buy. Everyone kept praising the pure beauty of it so I bought it and man were they ever right.
