Default VOTE for colored Blu-ray cases!

Ok i thought seen as it's all us guys that are pushing bluray foward around the world emptying our bank accounts for the best PQ and audio moneky can buy

So if we want something (within reason) we deserve to be listen to

I no alot of ppl have talked about many diffrent colored bluray cases

I love the idea to

Now that format war is over i don't think it's to much to ask if we can have our ghostbusters case in slime green or our batman dark night case in smoke black

Have never liked the idea and never will like the idea...I like the blue colored cases and think they should all look the same.

Oh yeah, and if they do start changing the colors of them, I will probably start buying blue cases to put them in. It's stupid to change the color when you've got a good thing going for you.

Absolutely true but I doubt for high costs of production

Nope keep them Blue...looks nice on the racks.

They could have more of the carboard cover but keep the cases themselves blue.

No. Keep them blue. BUT... I would love to see some special-edition cases that are the same shade of blue, but metal or somesuch. Have to keep the blue shade, but I could go for a metal case, increased detail, etc. Just for special exceptions.

I think the blue case is kind of a signature Blu-ray thing, it's part of their brand identity. I think they should stay Blue.

I hate custom packaging and love having most of the collection looking uniform on the shelf.

Sadly,... one of my most anticipated Blu Ray's shattered that dream of mine. (David Gilmour's Remember That Night in lavish freakin custom packaging.)

I may have to buy some cases and print some replacement art work if more stuff goes custom with the packaging.

They can always change the artwork.

I mean that's what graphic artists get paid for, right?

I guess if they switched to Black that would be alright.

Would likely make them easier to steal though,.. or maybe not.

If that happened I would try to buy new cases and swap all of mine out.

Unless Blockbuster still throws the new cases in the dumpster everytime movies come it. They used to do that with DVD cases because they use their own special case. I would get by and get a few bags of new DVD cases out of the trash. Dumpster Diving aint glamourous but BlockBuster dumpsters had just about nothing else in there.
