Hard Rain Blu-ray

Hard Rain Blu-ray Review

Is it just me or would anyone else love to see this on blu-ray? At least with universal now going blu its now a possibility ,i havent heard anything at all about a HD release of this though has anyone else?

These type of movies (action) can always benefit from a 1080p upgrade as well as lossless audio due to them relying heavily on their visual/auditory appeal. BTW, I liked this movie as well, and I would most likely pick this up if it were to be released on Blu-ray. It's kind of sad that this movie was the last one where Christian Slater had any kind of leading man appeal. It's all been downhill for him since.

Wasn't this movie released twice, once as Hard Rain, and again as The Flood? Reminds me of Babe, which was released under a different name in theaters, flopped, was re-edited, and re-released as Babe.

That said, I thought this movie was good. Freeman is the man. Slater is OK... I prefer him in Robin Hood and Broken Arrow.

I liked it, cant say I am stoked about ever seeing it on blu-ray though. I have the DVD, thats good enough for me

It was originally called The Flood, then in the last minute prior to release they renamed it Hard Rain. Who knows why? Perhaps because that was just a working title.

Mmmmm...I tend to pass on most anything with Christian Slater in the movie. I think my favorite movie with him in it is whatever StarTrek he had a 15 sec cameo.
I don't even like watching Discovery shows with him as the Narrator.

Just my opinion.

Didn't really like this one but Christian Slater has made some good films like "Pump up the Volume" ,"Julian Po", and "Heathers".

This movie was sold off from my dvd collection. I really like it but wife hates it. Just means I watch when shes not around. Hard Rain, yes please.

I'm pretty sure the movie is Paramount. I can still picture the cover in my head and looked like it was a Paramount.
