Default Olivia Munn Appreciation Thread
Olivia Munn was born July 3, 1980.

Munn began her professional career in television journalism before becoming an actress. In 2006, Munn starred as Mily Acuna in the series Beyond the Break. She co-hosted Attack of the Show! from 2006 to 2010 and was a correspondent on The Daily Show from 2010 to 2011. Munn has also had supporting roles in various films and television series since 2004. In 2015, she co-starred in the film Mortdecai, opposite Johnny Depp. She played Sloan Sabbiith on The Newsroom. She is starring a Betsy Braddock / Psylocke, in X-Men Apocalypse.

Considering what she did in THE NEWSROOM, she's been terribly underused since (what I've seen; haven't sat through Mordecai, should I?). She could be a rockin' good Bond girl, in the sense she could match Danny Craig snarl-for-snarl as Lauren Bacall did for Bogie in To Have and Have Not.

I agree on all of that.

Just watched Apocalypse again last night, and she didn't have a lot of dialogue or anything, but jeez was she smokin' hot. Of course, the costume doesn't hurt.

Agreed. It's not like it's terrible or anything. It's just mediocre. And as I've said before, that third act is really a chore to get through. I will say this, though: The first act is wonderful.

I think that's why I was so disappointed the first time I saw it: It starts out gangbusters, with all the introductions of the various X-Men, and especially with Magneto's story. That was fantastic.

But then the second act gets a bit lesser. And that third ... ugh. At least until the end.
