Default Your Vice Is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key (Arrow, Region A/B, Apr-05-2016)

Your Vice Is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key
Il tuo vizio è una stanza chiusa e solo io ne ho la chiave
Arrow | 1972 | 96 min | Not rated | Apr 05, 2016

Edwige Fenech is so fine in this movie. Not only does she go to bed with practically every character in the movie, but her short-haired, girl-next-door look differs so much from her usual vixeny depiction in her other films that makes her much hotter here.

A cast of female beauties with bedroom eyes and predominantly swinish males converge in this sordid tale of a brutish, sadistic author, his victimized wife, alluringly mysterious niece and a sudden rash of gory murders in the tranquil Italian countryside. Edwige Fenech is bewitching for sure - and auburn-haired Anita Strindberg's no slouch herself - in this violent, sexy, compulsively watchable and thoroughly, gloriously disreputable slice of '70s giallo - they don't make 'em like this anymore, and this one has some neat twists and surprises.

Just saw this for the first time on Amazon Prime (with a title like that I couldn't refuse) and can't believe mine is the only response to a thread started three years ago to the day... I'd have thought this entertaining bit of nastiness would've had more fans.

Great cast and locations. It's a great masterpiece, by Sergio Martino. Highly recommended!

Glad you enjoyed it. I probably saw it about a year ago. It's the movie that jumpstarted my love for Edwige Fenech, and got me interested in other films by Sergio Martino.

There are plenty of fans out there. You can find more discussions in the Black Cats thread.
