From Paramount, we're hearing that a Transformers: Extended Edition is planned for DVD and Blu-ray release in 2009, likely timed to coincide with the theatrical release of Bay's sequel film next summer

:Sigh: How much footage can they add onto this movie anyways!? It's another ploy to get us to buy it again. I really hate to double dip as I have never double dip before. Why couldn't they've release this in the first place. Dam these greedy,money-grabbing bastard. They're making me curious about this cut.

Actually... I've always wondered what the Hell happened to Barricade... I watched all the extras and never saw mention of any proposed fight... If this is the case it explains alot.

TBH i love this film so much i probably would double-dip

I can watch this movie over and over again, it's hilarious with great action, i will definatly buy an extended cut.. but thats just me, an extended cut is a sure thing for me to buy on any movie that i already own.. although i dont watch many special features ,i even double dip when they just add a "collector's edition" like they did with Casino Royale. But if you see my collection, i dont collect a huge libary, just certain one's that i really love, so i guess i can afford to double dip
