I'm stuck on dial-up w/my computer and I was wondering if it is possible to download the 1.32 System update and burn it to CD-R and then use the disc as the update. Or, does anyone know if Sony has any update discs planned?

Don't update from this site if your PS3 is from Japan, Taiwan or HK!

Thanks! I'm on hour 4 of 7 of the 1.32 download...

What I'm concerned is if the burned CD-R will mess with the laser in the PS3 like how burned DVDs were bad for the PS2.
