Default a tripod and wire cutters

im setting up my sytem right now, and i need a tripod for my onkyo audyssey microphone, where can i find one?. and i also need a wire cutter, witch store can buy it at? or can i just use a nife.

It's not the best solution, but I usually a chair or stack books instead of a tripod. As for wire cutters, if you have a Leatherman (or other multi-tool) it has a wire cutter near the center of the pliers. A knife will work, too.

but iwas reading the onkyo 705 faq page that they made over a avs, and it said you must you a tripod no exceptions?

Tripod.. need no stinkn tripod..
the mic needs to be where you head is located - no pun intended
I set mine on the back of the couch where my head rests
you can get a tripod at any camera dept in any store

wire strippers / cutters / dikes... make a cleaner cut that a sharp knife
and are inexpensive at any hardware dept
