Rescue Me - S1 & S2 Coming?

I did do a search but pulled up nothing on this topic. So, please excuse me if it has been discussed before.

I picked up some more Blu's recently and one of them was Rescue Me because I have heard it is an excellent show. I did catch a couple of episodes but I don't recall which season it was from. I figured the best way to get caught up was to buy them

However, I can't watch season 3 until I see 1 and 2. Is there any word on these?

Nope, but because of the writers strike there is no new episodes (all tv shows) being made, all were getting these shortend seasons. Really seasons have been split up 1/2, the one that have been filmed, this year, 2nd half next year: I'am sooo missing The Office & BSG is being split-up between 2008 & 2009 So, the tv companies need a income, so they are going to start working on the back season soon, if not already now, what else are they going to do? No new scripes for movies & no new scripe for tv...

So you missed S2, completly?? Because S3 mostly deals with the last 1 or 2 episodes in S2. So if you know how S2 ended it picks up on that, nothing is carried over from S1 & besides the ending of S2 nothing is carried over to S3.

No, have not seen any season. Only two episodes of a season I can't remember which. I picked up RM S3 because I didn't have it. Hoping 1 and 2 come so I can watch it in order. Nothing worse that watching a series out of order
