Very weird that AMC let Stan air this in Australia in November and they're just now finally airing it on their network.

I liked Orphan Black, I like Krysten Ritter, I'll check it out.

I enjoyed the original, this trailer isn’t doing anything for me. What’s the quality of the narrative on this? Is it as solidly written as the mother series?

It's ok I'm not sure it's as good but it wasn't bad a few old faces from the past showed up. (The stick on beard is terrible you'll know it when you see it)
I am surprised that it only now seems to be getting a US release it's been out for a while now.
It's a similar story to the original in a way I will say the bad guy is underwhelming but I'll watch season 2 if it gets made.

With the finale airing Sunday, I finally started this. I'm on episode 6, and the series is so flashback heavy it never really feels like it is moving forward.

Finished the season and I really enjoyed it.

I wonder if it can get shopped around so they can at least do season 2 to wrap up the story.

I tried to find a thread for this when it was deleted and all that showed up in a search was the old show lol

Filming was completed in January 2023 and with the show having been finished so long ago that Australia aired it in November 2023 while the network that produced the thing waited 6+ months more, the contracts might already be up. If it did bad enough for it to be cancelled and basically treated like an afterthought, I wouldn't expect anybody else to pick it up if the parent company doesn't want it.

It took a few episodes for me to warm up to this, but I ended up liking it enough that I would've watched a 2nd season.

I did a forum search, I don't associate the release page with the forum lol maybe if it was for the Blu-ray release, but not for the TV section.
