March 2019 50 Movie Challenge: Movie Chain

Movie Chain (25 movies)
You start off with a movie by a filmmaker of your choice (actor, actress, director, writer, cinematographer, or composer), then continue with your next selection provided it connects in some way with the previously mentioned filmmaker. For example:

1. Scarface (Al Pacino)
2. Heat (Robert De Niro)
3. Thief (Michael Mann)
4. Ali (Jamie Foxx)
5. Ray (Regina King)

This will continue until you've reached 25 films total (and beyond if you like).

The other remaining 25 films will be spread out over 5 categories with 5 films per category like we have done in the past.

Recommendations: Leading Ladies (5 movies)
5 movies that you haven't seen before from the titles recommended by other members. In your initial tracking post, everyone list 5-10 movies that star a female actor, deal with female character(s) overcoming adversity, have strong empowered female character(s), etc. Then for the ones you watch for this category, mention who recommended the film in your post.

Featured Category (optional): Sports (5 movies)
Select 5 movies that are set in the world of sports.

• 50 movies is the goal, but based on your own time and situation you can shoot for more or less, so we have different levels from Coal to Platinum:
  60 Movies - Platinum
  50 Movies - Gold
  40 Movies - Silver
  30 Movies - Bronze
  20 Movies - Copper
  10 Movies - Coal
