Default Have HD DVD fanboys gone too far?

Can you believe how far these guys will go? So Warner should be investigated for breaching anti-trust measures...and yet, paying off $150 million to Paramount/Dreamworks is ok? All I can do is just LOL!

I firmly believe this behaviour and detachment from reality is the result of the demographic at which HD-DVD was targetted.

Ignore the, Deny them the Oxygen of publicity.

they (warner) have CLEARLY denied the payoff. While paramount refused to say whether it's paid or not.

Would they stop already? Boycott warner titles if they don't like their decision

Paramount got caught red-handed on the payoff report.

Warner really didn't. The deniability of an incentive package versus a bribe is alot more present for Warner.

Personally, I don't see the numbers as having come from a reliable source for the Warner talk so *shrug*.

Their whole idiotic message ignores the fact that MS has used this war to bog HD down so as to keep everyone from buying into it. This in order to make Hi-Rez VOD and MS the overlord of it all. Talk about antitrust.

That's just ridiculous, it's OK when Paramount OPENLY admits to being bribed, but WB denies it, which I'm sure is true, and they scream bloody murder. Talk about sore losers, sheesh!

...and what "source" are they getting this from?

it is extremely sad to see how desperate some of them have become. there WERE some truly intelligent people at hdd.com and avs who bought hd dvd for good reasons. i believe they have mostly gone neutral now. leaving only the senseless tools to fight the lost battle.

Their butts of course. They're just calling it "common knowledge" these days.

I've seen one fanboy stretch a thread for a week with no sources other himself.

It has. It's also sad really that they make these wild aligations that lack any merit due to no evidence. They just need to throw in the towel and accept the fact that HD-DVD format is a lost cause.

And again I state, it's sad really.
