Im slightly underwhelmed. Its the movie poster art, and the spine is not backwards, which automatically makes it better than the French version. But just slapping the 1987 movie poster is a bit lazy. Kind of wish they had done an updated version of the movie poster. Use the poster art as inspiration but make it slightly different and updated. Sort of like what Zavi did with the Terminator 1 steelbook. It seems like Arrow does this with a lot of their steelbook cover art. Just slap on the original poster art. I know we usually have the opposite problem with steelbook art, where they try too hard to be too ambitious with their creativity and come up with art that doesnt even feel like the movie. But just slapping on the poster art and not doing anything else is also a problem.

The 1987 art is perfect. There will be a non-SB with a new artwork (and a reversable sleeve) for those who want it. But for the steelbook, there is only one option - and as for that, I will take the '87 poster any time.

The artwork for the amaray version is a perfect example of the opposite problem.
