The only headscratchers in my top 5 would be Excalibur and Brainstorm. I do know a lot of guys who like Excalibur, but I doubt it's in very many top 5 lists.

I don't know if it is in my top 5, but I love Excalibur.

So my main post was edited. The word retard was removed cuz someone complained it shouldnt be used... I was just referencing the movie I was pertaining to- "Step Brothers", in which that word was used 3x. Some people are just too sensitive. lol

To those who haven't seen the Director's Cut, the appearance of Kingdom of Heaven could raise an eyebrow or two. Jurassic Park too.

I'm not sure that there's any film where the Director's Cut makes as huge of a difference as it does with Kingdom of Heaven. They are almost like two completely different movies.

I don't think there's any title in my top 5 that will make people scratch their heads. My taste in movies is fairly conventional, I'm afraid.

In my overall top 50, though, I'm sure many will be aghast to find the likes of Femme Fatale, Redacted, and Bitter Moon.

Fantasia, and people scratch their heads with that choice not because its a bad film but it pops out considering my other 4 top films are usually, Terminator 2, Akira, Halloween, and Hara-Kiri.

I guess Mad Max for one, I think it's far better than Fury Road or The Road Warrior but I seem to be in a very small minority in that regard.

I'd also rank Night of The Creeps as probably THE best film in the horror genre when it comes to referential, homage based comedy but the film doesn't seem to be nearly as appreciated as more obvious titles in that category.

My top 5 is general well received, so nothing really.

However, I do love the "so-bad-they're-good" movies. Some of my favorites are The Children (1980), The Pit (1981), Frankenhooker, Dungeonmaster, Basket Case, Mausoleum, Night of the Comet, and Swamp Thing.

I don't think anything, and that sort of makes me sad. I sort of wish that my top films were a bit more ... off the beaten path. But I can't help it. *shrug*
