Fox's "BLUE HARVEST" DVD - Blu-ray Forum

Funny how with Fox recently touting the virtues of Blu-ray they have so far failed to include the release of the Family Guy "Blue Harvest" Star Wars parody DVD in Blu-ray format. I'd punch out my puppy to get it in BR, so to Fox, I ask "What's the deal?"

I think the only way you will see this on blu is if it is released as part of a complete season of famliy guy

This as been Drawn in 640x480 anyway.... even if it gets to HD the best they can do in Upscale it. The only true HD production from FOX is Simpson Movie and the first Futurama Movie as far as Fox Cartoon Shows. All other are in TV rez..

It is not even an hour long.
If they tried to release it on blu for normal price I would have kicked Seth Green in the pills.

I'm surprised they're even releasing this on dvd. You don't see shows like The Office releasing all of their 1hr special episodes on dvd.

Am I only the one saw $24.99 on sale at BestBuy.com while Best Buy advertised $29.99? I just printout the page today and saw the SKU matched my sale receipt. I'm going back tomorrow or the day after to get it pricematch plus the 10% off the difference. Here's the link of that product page.

FYI to those of you getting this DVD or already have it.

Found 2 "Easter Eggs" on Main Disc it's in the Features Menu right about the spot were Meg pop's her head out in the trash compacter. and the second is somewhere (Let you find it) in Options Audio Menu.

It's just another price grab for the company for releasing this on its own DVD.

I've been wondering that myself. I'm considering picking up the Collector's Set dvd, but if the episode is going to be released on the Volume 6 dvd then its not worth it imo.

I just rented Family Guy from my blockbuster online account, so in 2-3 days ill see if the digital copies work on rented discs

It won't because you need the slip of paper included in the DVD case with the code to upload it to your computer.
