Default Upgrading from Sony 700 to Panasonic 820 - yes or no?

All,

I have had the Sony 700 pretty much since it came out and have a couple pet peeves with it:

1. Having to switch Dolby Vision on/off when I watch 3D (played via external projector)
2. Shuts off every 15 - 20 minutes when I watch 3D disc (only happens when I play 3D to my projector, not when I watch 4K directly on my 70" flatscreen)
3. Seems flimsy
4. No clock (how long the movie has been playing) screen

Looking to upgrade to a new player and the Panasonic UB 820 seems to be my next choice. As a bonus, looks like a few places have it on sale now.

Drawing on the power of the forum:

1. Go with the Panasonic UB 820
2. Go with something else (what do you recommend)
3. Wait until XXXX player comes out

I would like to keep budget around $500 but could make argument for more if something really can't be beat.

Thank you
