New to Blu from New York - Blu-ray Forum

Im from New York Im looking to get PS3 in 1 months, Its way expensive but I like being with the times. I see PS3 as worth the money as oppose to Xbox with buying the Blu Ray upgrade.

If anyone is from New York more so Long island holler at me.

im not from new york but i do welcome you for considering the blu side. the ps3 is worth every penny. the 40gb is $399 and the 60 and 80Gb ones are both $499 and 80gb comes with a game in it. plus there is folding@home program you can use which is really awesome. it makes quite an awesome blu-ray player. free online gaming and downloading off of the playstation store is free unless you want to buy a game that is. i love my ps3

sign up for the SONY card and you can get the 40GB PS3 for $299.

I was also iffy at first, but once I got it and hooked it up to my tv and the internet it was worth every penny! I love it! The best system that does everything! Games are great too and with all the line up of 2008 you can't lose!

I did the same and took the plunge into bluray with a PS3.
My wallet's been hating me ever since.

You'll love it.

Are you from New York, or New York. Haha, if you're from the island, I hope you're not considering yourself part of the city, you're just an extension of Queens that everyone forgets about.

Just kidding.

Enjoy your PS3, it's awesome. Go for the 80gig, though, it's the better deal IMO.
