Terrific news. This movie horrified me as a kid - Officer Duffy being sliced open alive! ; Robo-Cain hunting down the kid in the warehouse! - but it nostalgically warms the cockles of my heart when I see it now

I hope someone picks it up over here in the UK. Arrow would be the natural fit, of course.

I categorize this as another awesome sequel just short of the original, although a lot of people crap all over it just like Predator 2 and Conan the Destroyer. Can not wait!

On the topic, so freaking happy Robo 2 is getting a 4K. Underrated as hell. Though on my rewatch a few years ago I thought it was one of the most mean-spirited and violent movies with a budget that I've ever seen. If not the most. Made me want to look away a few times. Even Robo 1 never did that to me.

I like both sequels. Second one is a bit grittier and at times a bit mean spirited but it has its moments. As watered down as 3 is I can still watch with the same level of interest I’d be willing to give Batman and Robin or Jaws The Revenge. It’s bad but yet holds your attention. At least it’s not NeverEnding Story 3.
