I'm not very versed on digital movies. Bullet points are the easiest way to present my question.
What movies fit all of these criteria?
Edit: it seems Pokemon Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution was shown at Anime Expo, not conventional theaters. Last edited by Lum; 07-01-2020 at 07:52 AM. |

I'm not sure films like Artemis Fowl and Lucy in the Sky count for this threat. The former was going to play in theaters but moved to Disney+. The latter played I think only for some festivals but never a proper theater release that I know of (due to the bad reviews), instead going to HBO.
If you include them, there's a whole bunch of other similar films on Netflix and Amazon that never got a disc release. I think Life Itself (some awful looking movie from couple years ago that seemed to have a good cast but was destroyed by critics and a bomb) was one semi-recent film that had a wide theatrical release and never got a disc release. |

"All Is True' from Kenneth Branagh was released on dvd only in the UK, with Prime having a 1080p version of it for rental. Same for Deathrace: Beyond Anarchy; we got a damn dvd copy and Amazon nabbed the film for renting on Prime. I imported my blu ray copies of both films from the US...
