Love it so far. Very cool receiver. This is what I have:
PS3 > HDMI > SR605 TWC Cable/DVR > HDMI > SR605 Wii > Composite > SR605 RCA SD DVD > Component > SR605 SR605 > HDMI > Philips 47PFL7422D/37 LCD TV SR605 > JBL NSP-1 5-speaker system and JBL PB12 powered sub Almost everything is working as expected, except this: The RCA SD DVD going through component into the SR605 and then out through HDMI to the TV does NOT appear to be upconverted. The TV is receiving a 480p signal. Likewise, the Wii coming in through composite into the SR605 does NOT appear to be upconverted as well. The TV says it's receiving a 480p signal (though it appears to be deinterlacing it since I think I had the Wii set to 480i output). I thought that it is supposed to upconvert these signals. I've set the HDMI out to "YES" on the SR605. Am I missing something? |
