Default What Grinds Your Gears...

Posted at the Rockband forums, i thought it was funny so here it goes...

Here are some things that irk me.

*Little teens who think they are communist
*People who dont realize that they are on Cash Cab
*People who piss other people off on purpose
*Kids who talk sh*t on Xbox Live and have dirty mouths
*Murderers
*Thieves
*Anyone in general who resorts to crime
*High school cliques
*College cliques (COME ON PEOPLE!)
*When my dog cries at the table for food because my mom gives in to him and feeds him table food (I've yelled at her but she doesnt get it)
*Emo kids who think they are artists, when their "art" is simply Microsoft Paint scribbles
*People who chew food like freakin cows...I am cursed with really good hearing, so when I am stuck in a quiet room with someone chewing their food with their mouth open, I just wanna snap!

I agree with those execpt the last one, it bothers me, but i dont feel like i want to snap.

I was a big member on the Rock Band forums until they completely re-tuned it and my password and username wouldn't work anymore so I haven't been able to visit since then.

DShiz was a good guy. I remember this thread too.

Ollie is one of the funny characters on family guy.

here's what i do to emos

old people piss me off too. as well as rich people. mind you there's a difference between being rich and having money. rich people have money and are dicks about it. but the elderly get on my nerves quite a bit. i'm a hater.

Traffic and pedestrians grind my gears.

Hate them both for being in my way.

you know what really grinds my gears? Nobody's come up with a new priest and a rabbi joke in like thirty years. Ya know? I mean, okay, ah, umm. Priest and a rabbi go, go onto the supermarket, and, uh, the priest wants to buy a ham. And the rabbi says, "Ah, I can't eat it. It's forbidden." Couldn't eat it. Not allowed, pigs are like superheroes to them. Is it perfect? No, but I, I don't see you coming up with anything. And that people is what grinds my gears. Tom?

Talking about Jewish people, no disrespect to all of you.

I went with a friend to a party and he was the cook, he had a side with no Pork in the food, and other with it. Everyone ate the one with the pork and the other was left being, lol. He kept on telling them, but they just said, ah dont worry were outside the synagogue

way to put your people back 1000 years

*You know, that really grinds my gears. Where in the bible does it say that a man can't fire off some knuckle-children in the privacy of his own neighbor's living room while his neighbor's at work because I don't have a DVD player? Well, I don't know where it says it because the Bible was way too long to read!

for me, it is crappy drivers and / or people not going the speed limit. i tend to not speed (maybe five over on a long stretch for a little while or 10 when on the 5... if you're in CA you know what i'm saying) but when there is someone going say 35 in a 50, i get pissed. of course, that may be because i live in a resort town and tourists are idiots.... but that is a different matter

Oh man, I hate that! I am so going to end up in jail for road rage one day after I buy a large axe and start threatening to behead people that can't learn to drive.

What gets me the most is people that decide it's smart to cut across 4 lanes of traffic and try to cut you off so they can make a left hand turn when there is NOBODY behind you and they could easily have gotten behind you and not made you slam on the brakes to avoid rear ending them.

It also drives me nuts when you wait in a turn lane, and somebody speeds up to the front of the line and tries to cut in, and then flips you off when you refuse to let them in forcing them to wait. I will NEVER let somebody in like that, if I had to wait, they have to wait!

agreed. all that pisses me off. in general, i'm very calm and don't have many cares. behind the wheel, i get truckers mouth for the idiots on the road...

now, this doesn't mean i have never done anything dumb. but, i'd at least like to think i'm above average.

I saw a device you can buy online (I tried Googling for a link but I'm at my office and don't have time to sift for it now), where you can put an LED display bar in your rear window and pre-program a variety of phrases into it that you can operate from the driver's seat. So if you're being tailgated, you could have it spell out: "no... not gonna happen" or "back off".

Something else that really grinds my gears are shopping malls. Thank you for making me suffer through ridiculous traffic so I can walk inside and be greeted by high prices and pathetic selection and your fake 30' palm trees. Add to it the overly-snobby rich women who cart around their DG shopping bag like it's an award for intelligence--I am not impressed that you paid too much for those jeans that you will only wear once. Or the douchebag teenagers who schlep around in groups and clutter walkways and perform ridiculous stunts on escalators with no regard to the woman pushing the stroller that they nearly toppled over, all the while using phrases like "oh my gawd" or "like, like, like" or "seriously" to obscene extents. I think the shopping mall is a testament to so many things wrong with our culture. Thank "gawd" for e-commerce.
