If they can pull it off, it should be a pretty solid SW game. SW games have been getting better the past few years, afterall. I'm hopefull.

reminds me of dark forces2:jedi knight, Jedi knight 2, and finally jedi academy.

jedi knight 2 being my favorite out of them all.
That was the first one I really got into online, and fairly competitive. Anyone remember DFA (death from above) move that used to get spammed before it was nerfed. I always liked using the force pull to pull people towards me (I was close enough they fell down), followed by a strong saber cut.

There was also I nice little trick that you could do with saber throw and force push/pull.

most force push or pull get blocked by another force users automatically unless the attacker is close enough and the defender is low on force mantra.
With this trick, you could throw the saber and then quicly issue a force push or pull and the defender will block the push pull attempt and leave thereself open to the saber you threw before. Kind of a sneaky way to get someone down on health if they dont apy attention.

Force Unleashed reminds me of these games more than the recent outing of Battlefield wannabe games (I have both and I still cant get into it)

I hope the game is as good as the video makes it look. But it doesnt matter, im a sucker for SW, so i'll be getting it either way.

Hey Chocolate,

Slightly OT, but have you tried the old PS/2 Battlefront games on your PS3?

My kids love BF II, but hate the save times on the PS/2. If they'll play on the PS/3 and save times are better, that would be a big plus.

I'm pretty sad at that news because the game looks fantastic. What's funny is Sony was approached by Lucas Arts to make it exclusive to PS3 and they declined (they would need to pay for the exclusive rights). If Sony had agreeed they supposedly would of had this game out 4th qtr last year

......imagine that, I think it would have sold some consoles.

Wow - I had no idea about the exclusive offer. Stupid Sony, this game is totally worth paying for, especially since Xbox has Kotor exclusive (still lots of rumors suggesting 3 is coming eventually)

I can not wait for this game. Will be buying as soon as I read a good review (hopefully one is posted prior to release day)

Bummer July 15th huh? Well ok aslong as it delivers! Better anyway cuz the original release date was around the same tiem as Ninja gaiden 2!!!!

With all the new and combined tech in this game, delays is probably better. I fully expect it to end up a very impressive Christmas title

Don't forget, there's also an Indy game in the works using the same tech
