I woke up to see this beautiful post

But I already got a similar edition standard blu-ray with the exact same 10 art cards and slipcover/box.

Maybe they go the Sony way and redo those deleted/tv version scenes in HD or 4k, but then again. It’s Warner Bros

It is Warner Brothers, I’m betting we ain’t getting the Black Bart TV pilot on this release. They are cutting a lot of legacy extras to save on costs.

Twister 4K loses the Nature Tech: Tornados documentary but iTunes still has it.
The Exorcist 4K only kept the commentaries and 1998 introduction.
Enter The Dragon 4K does have the original mono and both versions but only kept the commentaries and Linda Lee Caldwell introduction.
National Lampoon’s Vacation loses the documentary.

Wait a second, I thought Zaslav was personally going to burn every copy of this movie just like the now completely hidden from the public Gone With the Wind.

The greatest comedy of all time, shut up and take my money! I’d even spring for a steelbook of this. The HD DVD era transfer is still pretty decent so I expect this to awesome.

Love Blazing Saddles, but I’d really rather wait for a standard edition. It’s getting a bit exasperating (and potentially expensive) with all these tat editions released with no standard equivalent on day one. I guess I am assuming a tad with this title, but we’ve got OUaTitW, North by Northwest, Elm Street, The Conversation, The Italian Job, Chinatown all released/upcoming in the same situation.
I know why they do it, but it’s still getting on my tits.

Definitely waiting for a release without all the frills, but I am really excited for this one. I’m very pleased with Warner’s catalog selections as of late, can’t wait for Amadeus and Little Shop of Horrors.

Thrilled it's getting a release but equally frustrated there is no release date, especially after Seven got pushed into next year and still no dates for NBNW or NOES.

And what the hell happened to Boogie Nights?

Please stop pulling my chain WB, I get enough of that with Kino.

Gone With The Wind needs a new restoration, Warner acknowledged it. Although it does not show up when you search for it on Max, it is easily found in the TCM section. It also has an exclusive panel from 2019 under the Extras tab.

I don't usually preorder as soon as something goes live, but I will be doing that in this case.

Was hoping for a 4K release of this, one of the best comedies of all time. Cleavon Little and Gene Wilder had a really good rapport between them. As with Twister, I imagine a standard edition will be announced some time soon. Mel Brooks is a genius and this movie, along with many others, proves that.
