![]() ![]() https://www.psu.com/news/alan-wake-p...ster-in-works/ I know this is old news but I thought I create a thread. I'm currently replaying it through Parallels and it's still a great game. |

Good to see PS owners will finally get to play this great game. One of my favorites from the 360 era. Hopefully this will sell well and encourage Remedy to make a sequel.
Indeed it does and if I remember correctly, the 2nd DLC for Control will be a story tie-in to Alan Wake. |

Given how much I loved Control, I'll definitely get this when the time comes as I passed on it when it was released on the 360. |

Here's an excerpt from the description on there to this day. Unbelievable how this is allowed, as it's describing it like an open world game. Total BS description below as the game was linear as heck. ![]() In the original open world game, the towers were going to be home bases, but in the final game, it was just a temporary spot to visit during the linear mission. There was also a car you could drive down a hill for a brief section I remember. The potential of this game was awesome for open world, and then they reversed it completely to linear level designs. Explore an Entire Town The town of Bright Falls is 100 square kilometers, and players will be able to roam through this incredibly detailed area any way they like, roaming the town or wandering out to the lakes, forest, satellite towns, and more. The game gives the player goals, but how he chooses to go about completing them is up to him. Clues are scattered throughout the town, and solving mysteries will require players to pay close attention to the little details. https://www.amazon.com/Alan-Wake-Xbo...9469859&sr=8-2 |

It made it’s way unto PC in 2012 though. After that happening it lost it’s Xbox exclusivity.
