Howard Stern mentions Blu-Ray away, Warner Brothers sponsor now. - Blu-ray Forum

Warner Brothers is now a sponsor of the Howard Stern show therefore he did a commercial for them regarding their new Blu-Ray products. HOWEVER! The pre recorded voice promotes "WB Blu rays" but when Howard started to read the promo he said "HD DVD BLu Ray".....kinda pissed me off since I do love the guy. I was going to call and yell at him but it's always so busy

If you're a true-blu fan (both for Blu-ray and Howard), then I wouldn't phone in on-air and "correct" him. You and I (as well as any other fan of Howard's) both know that that will not go over well, and he'll only berate you and it won't go well. Shoot someone on his staff an e-mail, as I'm sure WB, Blu-ray, and Sirius (as well, of course, Howard) don't want to promote confusion or cross-promote the competition. Just don't call it in, it won't go well (but it will be very comedic to hear him tear into ya!)

It's an F.Y.E spot..... not WB

F.Y.E. seems to be disguising it as WB though.... odd.

You know I listened to the replay and you're right it's a FYE promo. I didn't catch that the first time since the only thing mentioned is WB....

If you ever seen "Private Parts" he claims to have gone to a certain store when he was a kid but later reads the grand opening is this week. And then says aloud he just lied.
