I was wondering if the steelbook releases for this year were slowing down, considering how mnay titles haven't had an annoucement yet. And then this.

not bad, though I will pass because the prior two films had really ugly steels, and I actually gave up when the second one arrived. Both looked like they were designed in MSPaint.

That art kinda rules out new matching Steelbooks for 1 & 2, that align with the Rocky 4K Steels.

45 days is the new theatrical window before studios can start putting their movies either on-demand or on disc. It changed during the pandemic when the theatres were struggling to stay open.
It's why "THE BATMAN" was on HBO Max in Mid-April when it came out in early March last year.

Plus, remember, CREED III was suppose to be released in November 2022. It got pushed to March so that it would have a better box office chance so this physical release was pretty much ready to go already.

I wonder if this will get a Premium release WEA steel ala WeET, Manta Lab, etc.… I’m getting tired of purchasing a BB then they come out with a Premium edition after I ordered a BB steel!

BB is good at changing up the style in a series. The Star Wars steels did that. Got mine pre-ordered, look forward to seeing it.

It'll prob get premium treatment with Filmarena,but don't expect any other premium retailers to do it.
