Since Criterion is planning a separate release for this, I’m fine with double dipping later on and throwing the UHD disc in that packaging. You get the best of both worlds.

For fellow Canadians, Parasite is $9.99 on iTunes with 4k/HDR, Dolby Atmos and English subtitle. This should be good for now until the disc is released.

Awesome!

So I own the UHD version through Apple TV--and while I'll always prefer physical media, and will definitely be picking this up day one--the Apple version does look fantastic.

This is such a great movie, too. One of the rare cases over the last few years where the hype is entirely justified.

I have the blu-ray - couldn't not buy it.

I had been delaying redeeming the digital code, though, in hopes that this would happen. Now I won't end up wasting a code, plus I can get more of my investment back if/when I ultimately sell it. I'll also have a hard time preventing myself from buying the Criterion version.
