Default DVD Art from Paramount/Universal

By DVD Art, i'm talking about the artwork or printing that is on the ACTUAL DVD disc, not the box or case it's in. I've noticed for the past couple years (maybe it's been longer), but it seems like only my Paramount and Universal DVDs lack any sort of art - instead they are just a plane grey or silver with text on them, nothing more, nothing less. My other DVDs from Sony, Disney, Fox, etc. all have some kind of art and or coloring.

Has anyone else noticed this? Perhaps this helps further explain some of the mentality at these two red studios.

I've noticed the same thing and almost made a thread about it. Every single DVD from these guys has been silver. I was starting to think it might just be a Netflix thing since rental groups can get a seperate run of discs but I haven't seen anything on it.

I've noticed it as well. They're trying to be cheap like Warner is with their transfers.
