Warner Bros The Little Things 4K UHD (2021)

Warner will be releasing The Little Things (2021) on 4K UHD on July 8th via MOD distribution.

Quote:
Deputy Sheriff Joe "Deke" Deacon joins forces with Sgt. Jim Baxter to search for a serial killer who's terrorizing Los Angeles. As they track the culprit, Baxter is unaware that the investigation is dredging up echoes of Deke's past, uncovering disturbing secrets that could threaten more than his case.

It looks like Warner are only putting this out now to time with the release of The Amateur. Different studios of course, but both starring Rami Malek, and come out the same day.

This was forgettable for me. Just hard for me to say no to Denzel on 4K.

I remember this being okay and I guess I will pick it up, but one of the little things (sorry) that really bothered me is that Washington's character has
[Show spoiler]these photos—mugshots, if I recall—which he looks at multiple times in the film, but even though the film takes place in the 1990s, the photos are very obviously taken with a digital camera instead of a film camera. I'm sure many films have done this now and it's amazing to me that production / set designers (or someone else who's in charge of providing still photography) can screw up like that so badly, when it's still easy to get a disposable film camera and take the necessary photos
that way.

Hopefully Tom and Jerry and other recent films from WB get a MOD 4K soon.

Pre-order now up at MovieZyng. According to the page, it will have a Dolby Atmos track included.

Ew. No.

I could understand, maybe, a Bone Collector/The Little Things double-feature, or add Fallen for a Denzel-noir-psycho-crime triple... but Sesevenen is a classic that is head and shoulders above the rest and should remain on its own.

Does somebody have the back cover ? I don't manage to find it anywhere on the web, that's crazy. I'd like to check the audio tracks.

As far as I can tell this one is only out on paper. This MOD is taking its sweet time to actually hit the streets.

Dolby Atmos, as well as the Blu-ray's DTS HD 5.1 MA track.
English SDH subtitles only.

This is a decent upgrade from the Blu Ray. Dark scenes in general are a significant improvement.
