No, it's not.

Candyman 2 is a decent movie. I don't love it but it's not a raging tire fire either. I'll buy it eventually.

It's out in Australia and other countries.. all region free.

I love Candyman and Candyman 2: Farewell To The Flesh. The atmosphere and music score on both are FANTASTIC. Candyman 3 was ABYSMAL to put it mildly. It was AWFUL.

All of the upcoming Shout Factory blu-ray releases, should be merged into one thread, instead of having individual threads for each movie.

I'm glad this one is finally getting released. It would be nice to see a U.S. release of the original, but at least it's available -- region free -- in other places. The U.K. blu-ray is fairly decent, but it doesn't have any extras. I wouldn't be surprised if we see Twilight Time releasing it sometime in 2015.

I wish the original would get a stateside release vs having to import it. I think its time. Ill be picking this up though for sure.

I got the original from the Amazon.com for about $13 from one of the sellers. It was cheaper than buyin it from the amazon uk site. I'll probably get the sequel once it drops in price a bit.

I would buy the first Candyman from Scream Factory in a heartbeat. I might still pick up this one. I don't remember it very well.

I actually prefer the sequel over the original.

I'm guessing Twilight Time may have secured the original, otherwise Shout would have definitely picked it up.

Shout has yet to release a single Sony title under its Scream Factory banner. Cliff has indicated many times that they have no plans to work with Sony, because Sony won't allow Shout to make new extras for their releases.
