As Mike said, they actually did the VAR version as a wide theatrical release, not just an IMAX thing, so there’s every chance the UHD (and Blu) will retain it too.

Heh, I’m thinking back to the VAR DCP of Transformers 5 and how the cinema I saw it at just showed it cropped to ‘scope anyway

VAR on Dolby Cinema. No reason to keep the AR fixed for the home video release.

I thought this might finally be the movie that got me back into theaters but nope, didn't happen. Maybe Indiana Jones. Day one UHD buy though.

Shame that this made just 800m but Disney and marvel are to blame for this, thanks to the so-so Phase 4 and their horrible shows on D+.
