Even though I have no interest in a BD Friday the 13th or equivalent, I think these movies rely on more viewer imagination. They don't explicitly show what happens (violence) they way a newer 90's - now movie would.

I would like to see these on Blu-Ray:
1. Jaws (It's just an awesome flick and who cares if the shark was fake!) 2. Halloween (My all time favorite horror flick!) 3. Creepshow (Yes I would love to own that also! Stephen King Rules!) |

I wouldn't be interested in any horror film from the 70's or 80's. After seeing some of them recently, most of them just don't stand the test of time, with the exception of The Exorcist and Romero's zombie flicks

Anyone here like Pumpkin Head. Lance Hendrickson of Aliens is the main guy, the one who summons the creature.

ah the creepshow films would be great to see on blu-ray.
i'd also like to see Childs Play on Blu-Ray, just to see Chucky in high def would be awesome! the Shining has to be my all time favorite horror film, i'd sell my soul to see that on Blu-Ray. Fright Night would be fun to watch on Blu as well, uh... dang theres a ton of films but they just slip my mind at the moment, tired. |

I would like to see Scream. I've seen the potential of hd horror movies. I have dish network with hd channels(up to 1080i) and one of the hd channels is the Monster channel - a 24 hr horror movie channel. Nightmare on Elm Streets, Halloweens, Friday the 13ths, and Child Plays series have already been on occasions.

You have to consider Hellraiser, just for it's disturbing visuals.

The evil dead series, Zombi, Halloween, Hellraiser series, In The Mouth of Madness...
I don't know about you guys, but I could already tell the shark was fake... the special effects in Jaws are a tad bit dated. |
