What makes Blu-ray better than HD-DVD?

I have done my research before entering the format war. I chose Blu because the blu-ray discs went up to 50GB dual layer, because of the strong studio support and along with the best in high def sound, Uncompressed PCM. I also really found it interesting that a lot of the industries top leading filmmakers approved of Blu-ray because they felt it gave them the best transfer and preserved the look for their films. But it recently came to my attention that to my very own brother supports HD-DVD. He believes it is the better format because of extras and HDI menus. I tried to explain about BD-Java and the what the future holds for blu with profile 2.0. He fails to see my point and truly believes that the transfers are all the same and that there is no real difference between Dolby Tru HD and Uncompressed PCM. I am just wondering if there is any website that is not biased that will flat out show why blu-ray is the better format. I guess hes in denial that his format lost due to Warner Bros.
