Universal uploaded a similar "New to 4K" video for Shrek 2 (2004) and later on things set in motion. Shrek 2 is planned for this November.

Universal always wanted to release this on 4K Blu-ray never made it yet.

Thats like saying The Hobbit and LOTR is a musical. Musical is a genre and usually has dialogue or exposition delivered in verse. Les Mis, the book, is not considered a musical. The book was adapted into a musical for the stage. The stage play was then adapted into a musical film. But there have been other adaptions, before the 2012 film, that take their own approach. I'm not sure how much each adaption drew from book or stage play.

True. But it is not a musical. Hugo didn’t write any music, just words. It’s a book in which some people sing. Not a musical in which some people talk. I can prefer a non musical movie over a musical; can I not? I do prefer the Broadway production over the 2012 film. It is a musical. Now where are we?

Meh, as bad as half the cast was, extended cut with the full songs they shot or no sale. In addition to some of these “actors” warbling through classic tunes, they butchered it in editing. Especially cutting half of A Little Fall of Rain completely disrespected the love triangle. It’s a shame the filmmakers didn’t respect the source.
