Les Misérables (2012) 4K UHD

Les Misérables (2012) 4K UHD available for pre-order in Scandinavia. Nordic release date is October 8, but probably earlier in The States. As this surely will be an international release, I put the thread in the main forum.

Very nice.....I've already got a beautiful digibook with the BD, but this will be very tempting.

October is starting to look like the new May. In other words, another very expensive month for UHD buyers. Not that I'm complaining.

Please let this be real. This thread shouldn't be here until US release is confirmed.

Anyhow, this is one of few films where my opinion is 10+ points above the Metacritic score.

I loved almost every aspect of this movie! Russell Crowe's singing, not so much...

This movie is supposed to look bland, to give that feeling of prefers in France. Would 4k with HDR ruin the look and make the picture into something it wasn’t intended to be?

The entire movie is not drab, during a lot of the daytime sequences would benefit from HDR

Extreme close ups in 4K and Crowe's hideous singing voice in Atmos.
