Default Amicus Productions Discussion Thread

Surprised to find that there wasn't a dedicated thread to the films of Amicus, especially in light of the new box set coming from Severin this year. Often compared to their UK counterpart, Hammer Film Productions, because of their horror output and use of the same actors, Amicus mostly concentrated on the horror anthology instead of single story films.

If you're looking for a few interesting books to read about Amicus, here are a some:
The Amicus Anthology: British Cult Cinema - also available in a superior hardcover edition from Hemlock Books
Amicus: The Studio That Dripped Blood
Amicus: The Friendly Face of Fear - can't speak for the quality of it since it hasn't been released but looks good
Amicus Horrors: Tales from the Filmmaker's Crypt
