Hope its not like White Collar. I tried to get into that show but it reminded me too much of Wall Street. Super Smart Criminals have awesome plans but at the end they get caught in dumb ways. Like Gordon Gecko in Wall Street. Gecko was so smart and evaded the SEC all this time and knows Bud Fox is teaming up with the Feds and meets him in the park at the end of the movie. Gecko confesses everything to Fox while he is wearing a wire. Saw the first few episodes of White Collar and saw that these so called Super Smart criminals where being taken down in similar ways.
I'll still check it out, I like USA shows as long as its not White Collar, In Plain Sight, or Fairly Legal. Still have to watch Royal Pains though... |

They even end with a shot of the actors looking down at the camera, like the early USA promos for White Collar. Nice looking actors, but it still remains to be seen if they will have the same great on screen chemistry the WC leads do. |

Yeah I don't see myself liking this show if the leads don't have good chemistry as one of the reasons I like White Collar is Neal and Peter's chemistry.

I did not think that I would like Cover Affairs, I find it hard to believe that a girl can go around beating guys up. I have only fallen for that while watching Sarah Walker in Chuck. Though in Covert Affairs you see Annie making mistakes and getting beat up. Its one of my guilty pleasure shows that I watch, even though I know its cheezy as hell.

Matthew Boomer and Tim DeKay play well off of one another, clearly enjoy working together. That also why Burn Notice and Psyche are such monster hits for USA. |

Yeah Psych is one of my favorite shows and I love chemistry Shawn and Guss have. Haven't seen Burn Notice but want to start it soon or may wait for the series to finish before I start it.

Just couldn't get into Covert Affairs, don't buy Piper Perabo as a Secret Agent. But will watch when Oded Fehr return in S2 for another eppy. Just will tune her out and drool over him. |

Yeah that's what turned me off. I just couldn't see her being a secret agent and fighting off all the people that attack/try and kill her.

That looking down at the camera thing has been used before though. not JUST with White Collar.

Watched the series premiere last night and I'm hooked. I'm sure some viewers will try to draw parallels between this and other USA shows (such as White Collar and Covert Affairs) and maybe they share some of the same writers, but I think the writing on Suits is just a tad bit sharper than White Collar. Gabriel Macht is tailor-made (no pun intended) for the role of Harvey Specter: he's everything you love and hate in lawyers. A sharp dresser and smooth talker that oozes arrogance and self-exaltation, but not in the same vein as Neal Caffrey; unlike Neal, Harvey is both a figure of admiration and repugnance at the same time. Patrick J. Adams is fine in the role of Mike Ross, Harvey's associate, but I think viewers will tune in for the Harvey character rather than Mike: Harvey's just more interesting.
