Warner Home Video has announced The Book of Eli for release on a Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy Combo Pack on June 15. This post-apocalyptic movie starring Denzel Washington opened theatrically in January 15 and earned a total of about $94 million at the box office. The BD will exclusively include Warner's now-famous picture-in-picture Maximum Movie Mode.

The Lost Tales
Starting Over
Soundtrack Piece
Eli's Journey
Additional Scenes

Great movie with a good plot, atmosphere, action, acting, and twist. It will be a first day purchase for me. It's also good to see that it will be with the Maximum Movie Mode. I would have hoped it was released sooner, 5 months seems like a long time compared to how quick other movies are released. I don't like this cover too much though. I prefer the cover being used for the French release.

I'm going to give it a try and blind-buy it!

If I don't like it, I'll give it a friend

day 1 purchase for me...it was one of those movies where i was walking out of the theatre saying "i can't wait for the blu-ray!"

Nice, a bunch of us went to see this a while back and really enjoyed it. Can't wait to pick it up on blu-ray.

I wish they would instantly ban people doing this sort of thing. People trying to ruin a movie or game for someone is just ridiculous. Seriously, don't you have anything better to do? If you don't like it, avoid the thread on it, don't give away the ending. Geez.

I saw this movie 3 times in the theater, first time I remember seeing a movie that many times. In 2 out of the 3 theaters the picture quality was very poor. The projector seemed like it was way out of focus the film had a lot of damage. Only in my second viewing I found a theater with a decent picture quality. I remember thinking how much better it will look once I can see it on Blu-ray because it would be a truly focused and clean image. It's funny that I began to judge the picture quality of a movie at the theaters after I got into Blu-ray

The release to home video seems a bit long, especially when compared to how quick other movies have been released after their theatrical release.

Not a big fan of the cover though. I was hoping it would be the same cover as the French release.

This movie looks pretty interesting to me and I'm a big Denzel fan, but something kept me from seeing this in theaters. Might blind buy if I can find a good price.

Yes that's the French cover. It works much better than the U.S. cover as it's more telling.

I remember after seeing this in theaters, I thought right away man I can't wait to get this on Blu-Ray. It will surely look amazing.

Definite buy for me, though not day one or anything since I've seen it already. I'll wait for a sale, under $20 for sure.

I loved this in the theater and have been waiting for the Blu-Ray release. I can see how some people would not like it. It is without a doubt the key-lime pie of 2010 so far.

Finally they announce the book of eli. I have been literally checking here everyday to see when they announce this one. This is definitely a day one buy for me. I loved this one in the theater.
