Default Pauses and resolution changes

I have noticed on BD movies you have an awful lot of pauses between trailers and options. Alot of the time my TV doesn't recognize a signal during these pauses.

Does everyone experience these? It seems, shall we say "clunky".

Richie.

It happens because the trailers and the warning/FBI/disclaimer cards are NOT one 1080p file. Because of this, your TV has to cope with the end of the file and the start of the new file.

This is true on BD and DVDs, in fact, all digital media like this uses separate media files for FBI warnings, trailers, extras, etc. Always has been that way, always will. I suggest you skip what you can and get straight to the movie.
