Default Which Resolution is better?

Which screen resolution is better 1366x768 or 1024x768 on a 40"-42" LCD HDTV??? I've heard that 1024x768 isn't truly High Definition, is that true or am I wrong?

Better resolution 1366*768
1024*768 is High Definition as far as I know.

Isn't 1024x768 4:3? But yes like the above poster mentioned, 1366x768 is the better resolution.
