Violent Midnight (1963)

From what I can find about this film on the IMDb, early sixties film Violent Midnight hasn't had a Blu-ray release anywhere (correct me if I'm wrong). It appears to have had a North American DVD release by Dark Sky Films. After looking at the Hysteria-Lives review, I just knew this was going to be a very good Blu-ray (sounds like it was an early example of the slasher sub-genre).

Not available on Blu-ray to my knowledge. Originally released in the US as PSYCHOMANIA. The VIOLENT MIDNIGHT version has some topless nudity, and was thought-lost for decades before surfacing on Dark Sky DVD.

Like with Blue Underground's Blu-ray release of slasher The Prowler and their DVD-only release of The Killing Hour (aka The Clairvoyant), I may just get Dark Sky's DVD-only release of Violent Midnight (sadly nothing since I started this thread, about a Blu-ray release in the works).

On re-checking out Violent Midnight, have found out about a film also from the early-sixties, called The Curse of the Living Corpse. Haven't found a separate DVD release of it (which Violent Midnight has had).

Right, the only DVD release of CURSE OF THE LIVING CORPSE was with its theatrical co-feature THE HORROR OF PARTY BEACH.

Severin did release a standalone Blu-ray of HORROR OF PARTY BEACH.
