I'll stick with my 3D Blu-Ray, love the movie but I've bought this movie about 6 times now since it hit home video.

Good, they're starting to go through the 4k restorations they've made for Disney+. Hopefully the Muppet movies will be next.

Disney PR said a while back the only 100th themed release coming anytime soon is the slipcover reissue in Oct as a part of the last wave of those re-releases

If it looks as film like as the recent Laika/Shout 4K UHD of Coraline, it could be a real treat. I love my Coraline & NBC 3D discs, but the level if detail could be glorious. Fingers crossed.

I wasn't expecting to see this announcement tonight and am literally so happy that I could cry. I've been waiting for this ever since they announced/released the Hocus Pocus 4K back in 2020. This is definitely the most glorious treat one can ask for this Halloween!

It'd be cool if they gave it to us in another cool steelbook like that. I have the same steelbook but its a pain in the butt getting the disc out of inner tray.

If we get this and Muppet Christmas Carol in 4K this year, then my Christmas is set.

Maybe it’s different on your older discs but I only have the 3D version and the picture quality is not great so this’ll hopefully be a big upgrade for me.

How did I miss that? Hmm. I bet the 3D will be better but both would be ideal. I have the DVD lol.
