Ratatouille, Terminator 3 and Spider-man 3 not playing.. are yours? and what specs? - Blu-ray Forum

None of these movies play in my system...
I have the GGC-h20L drive firmware 1.02
PowerDVD Ultra Deluxe with the latest patch 3730a
core2 duo 2.33
2 gigs of ram
Geforce 8500gt Graphics card...

I'm just curious if anyone else got these movies to play, and what is different about their system that is allowing it... Please post your specs, I really want these movies to play... also put what movie you got to play...

played rat. havent tried spidey dont have terminator 3.
have quad core 6600 3g ram 8500gt. are others playing ok?

edit: have the sony bdu x10s with cyberling bd edition. didnt play yuma until patch. only issue

hmm... I haven't tried yuma... probably won't play either...

All my other movies play fine...

all play...

Your processor is stronger than mine, and you have more ram... but ram hasn't been an issue with many people.. I hope its not the processor.. shouldn't be at least, its held up beautifully with everything else..

IF anyone else can answer, please do, Im trying to Narrow this down as best as possible... my last resort will end up being a fresh install of vista, with the installation of cyberlink and the drive being first priority. in the hopes it will work better... i don't want to do this until its the only option.

have you tried running the bd/hd advisor on cyberlinks site?

alo i think some people still had issues after the patch but got better results uninstalling everything then reinstalling with the patch

yes the advisor gives me green lights across the board, like I said shouldn't have ever been an issue.

I've just heard a few people say that they did a fresh install of vista and a lot of the problems went away with video quality and other things, which is why Im thinking maybe there is an unforeseen conflict on my machine causing the problem... I have installed and uninstalled a lot of programs in my efforts to find the perfect setup... wouldn't put it past it all for there to be a conflict mucking things up...
