How to update my PS3's firmware? - Blu-ray Forum

while watching sunshine i tried to rewind and it froze i then restarted but it would not select the chapter i wanted it would go to the one before it but would not allow me to fast forward or skip to the next chapter. i do not havce the firmware updates because my ps3 is not hooked up to the net as of yet could this be the issue i have not had this trouble with any other bd.

Usually the first question when something like this comes up is as you guessed "Have you done the firmware updates?" I'd hook that bad boy up, update it, and then see if you still have an issue
